I couldn't agree more.

This has cover up blown open all over it.

I expect major resignations in the future.

He went on a Political news station tirade. When he was down with his 10 minute rant about Rice and the NFL, he brought up the Washington Redskins name.

What a douche

If the outrage can last past two MNF games and a full sunday slate, then I think we have a shot at getting rid of the Rog

ironically, it would be his own slimy PR tactics that did him in

The owners will dump him if it is good for the bottom line

1. Whom does this include?
2. Why?

Was there ever any doubt that he laid her out? Why are people so susceptible to the media's constant need for new tidbit for their fricking "news cycles". This is nothing new. Just something that we're all pretending is new, adding new posts, clicks, and editorials for the sake of whatever the frick. It's like ping-pong between the economic needs of opinion makers and the "outrage" needs of the average bored American.

I don't think the Ravens saw the video. Ray Lewis was just on and said the owner, who is a very close friend of his, swore up and down today was the first time seeing this. Also said it affected him so much he cried and terminated Rice's contract immediately within the half hour.

The owners are head over heels for Goodell. He was the one who took the brunt of the backlash for two lockouts in the course of a calendar year, both of which netted the owners better deals than they had originally, and he's carried the water for them in terms of new stadium deals by using the L.A. and European markets as negotiating leverage.

I know it's en vogue for fans and players to hate the guy -- I think he's the most unlikable commissioner in sports -- but he works for the owners, and to a man they love him because he's represented their best interests since day one.

Someone at NFLHQ might be the fall guy for this, but it won't be Goodell.

I think he called for Goodell's job when this news first broke about Rice only getting 2 games over a month ago.

The question is, did Roger see the video before he levied the suspension?

frick Olbermann. That fact that he's on ESPN makes me hate them that much more.

His whole redskins thing is sickening and I love to see him crying about it.

If he did, you can bet your arse that Ray will make that information known.
