I'm not hating on Tebow.
I've said since he was drafted that the Broncos need to bring him along slowly.
But look, dude, numbers don't lie.
Before teams go to prevent defense or call off the dogs, Tebow's play has been ABYSMAL.

You've gone out of your way to hate on him. You've made a point to shoot down any and every refute that has been made in his defense. Heck, you act like 3 starts at the end of the season last year, the lack of offseason work outs this year, and being told by everyone in your organization that your 3rd string (and honestly 4th string when compared to the scout team QB) means that he's been given the same chance to succeed as Jamarcuss Russell.
Has Tebow been abysmal. Absolutely. Is it really necessary for anyone to go out of their way to bash the guy? No. Is it fair to say that he'll never be an NFL QB based on the situation he is currently in? I don't think so.
Essentially, he's being thrown to the wolves by an organization that told anyone that would listen that he wasn't an NFL QB and was barely 3rd string and the same organization that has gotten rid of every good player they've had the last few years.
I'll say this again: Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Drew Brees would not look like NFL QBs if they were the starting QB for the Broncos right now.
Does that mean that Tebow is even a decent QB in the NFL? NO. But, we have no way of knowing because he's been set up to fail.

Actually, I've said that those are the reasons that they should bring him along slowly and let him develop instead of throwing him to the wolves.
Try to keep up.

Point out where I've bashed him. This ought to be interesting.

Please direct me to where I said that...

Yes, they would. Kyle Orton was able to complete more than 40% of his passes when the opposition wasn't playing prevent or had already called off the dogs, and I think those guys are better than Orton.
Tebow should be on the bench right now, taking reps in practice and running specific packages so that he can get groomed into being an NFL passer. If Denver isn't the place for him, then someone else will take him. But Fox has completely fricked the situation up, and I think that he's actuallY HURTING Tebow instead of helping him.

Please, let this happen...
At worse, we should have a shot at Laundry Jones. With our recent draft woes and aging team, it is imperative to have a solid draft this season. Josh McDaniels tore this team apart while he was here, and had horrible draft picks.

I agree except for my edit. I think that Elway is intentionally trying to prove to the fan base that Tebow is garbage. He is not only hurting Tebow's development, he is doing it intentionally.

Good. Tebow sucks and will never be a successful NFL QB. He should've never been drafted in the 1st round to start with. He might as well switch positions.

Elway just might be the driving force behind this, as well.

I think that with an entire off season of coaching, he can fix his mechanics and become a solid QB. I think that he has everything except for the accuracy that you need to succeed in the NFL, and I think that he holds onto the ball too long because he doesn't trust his accuracy.

Plus, he's a running QB. He always thinks that he can make a play and not get sacked. It also doesn't help that he has about 1/4th of the amount of time before getting sacked than other QBs in the league.
