Most golfers should be playing a 10.5. But it is different on where you play. If you play mostly firm places you want lower launch and lower backspin but around louisiana where it is wet most of the time, you need those higher.

I laungh the ball pretty low and look for a good amount of roll, which is weird because I have about 4500 RPM, but I still move it out there so I'm not changing!

I don't have a problem hitting a 8.5, I just prefer the ball flight the 10.5 gets me

Yea where I am playing now, I needed a change. I had to switch to a ball and club that gets about 3300 rpm. Went with an 8.5 I20 with a Project X Black 6.5. Get about 160 ball speed and 32-3300 spin maximizing roll. Still have my 9 degree FT 9 Tour for when I go play wet courses tho. About 4200 RPM.

I play the 910 9.5* (turned down to 8.75*) with the Project X 6.0 (I need to X-flex 'ahina after some swing changes).

Tiger is playing a VR tour stamped 8.5 lofted head. It is true lofted 11.25* and 2.66* open. It will play about 9.5* effectively. He has a GD DI6X that is tipped 1.5" at 45.25" long. There was a pic of his specs on golfwrx a few months ago.

Depending on ball speeds and course conditions, to maximize carry and roll you need to launch it around 12* and spin around 2200-2400 rpms. If your spin is around 3200, you need to launch it around 8*-9* to get close to maximizing distance. I play most of my golf in Vegas and it is one of the few places where you launch it low and not worry too much about spin.

I agree with that, I don't know what that guy was talking about, it's all subjective though.

Baddeley from the start of his golfing career honed his swing to be a very low launch. There will be exceptions to everything obviously.
