The thing is, I don't think a new southern-style based in Atlanta would even work anymore. There has been basically 2-3 generations that don't even know it existed.
What really hit the hardest was when the guys like DDP and the behind the scenes guys were talking about how many of the crew had worked there for 27 years and had a tailored skill sets to that particular industry. And then they were all gone.
So many of those guys had thick southern accents. Even though the product was slicker snd more national, WCW was still a southern rasslin' company at its core.
