What the frick . It's a sport, why are you so conservative. In every country that plays baseball but the US, looking at your HR or flipping your bat is considered enthusiasm, not showing someone up.

Jose's been like this since he came over from Cuba. The clips of him being excited over Stanton's HRs are just a part of who he is. People should get over themselves and not take it seriously.

I have no problem with the Braves. The Braves were the team that happened to act like a pansy in this situation.

Lot of gentleman's competitions involve sticking a needle of roids in your arse to hit a ball with a stick?

Why are baseball players allowed to clear their benches, but basketball players get ejected and suspended if they even take two steps away from their bench?

Are baseball players so weak & sissy that MLB officials aren't worried about them hurting someone in a fight?

just not as funny as you trying to call the braves out on something just about every MLB team would do in the same situation.
just because they all do it certainly doesn't make it to any less laughable or ridiculous.

We invented baseball though. So maybe they are doing it wrong. Not us

so naturally the appropriate response is to take the braves' reaction and blow it up into something no other team would dare think about doing.

the funniest thing is he's one of the most humble really good youngsters I can recall, but people think stuff like this actually mean something towards a guy's character.

I disagree. I think it's incredibly childish to get that angry over absolutely nothing. And there is nothing gentlemanly about purposely hitting players either

so I'm sure you'd be the first to start a thread if the pirates did this exact same thing.

I've got a response for you. Lighten up grandpaw, the kids aren't getting off your lawn anytime soon so learn to enjoy sports.

Jose for the win!

In all honesty he has an amazing record with a shitty team. What an incredible rookie season.

You're being way too sensitive because I mentioned the Braves in the title. The Braves were pussies in this situation but it was a commentary about all of baseball. All of baseball needs to stop being so gay about this. Calm down.

It would remind me how much I hate when baseball players get all self righteous, so yeah.

Johnson acted like about as big a bitch as Fernandez.

Like Deadspin said, you don't like it? Hit him next time up.
