Cormier is an absolutely elite wrestler and can pretty much take down almost anyone and get them to the ground at will. His strength on the ground is incredible. He came into an MMA without any standup/striking, but has gotten a lot better. He's still not an excellent striker, and has broken his hand several times. He's also fought at Heavyweight a bunch and despite being much shorter, is probably naturally heavier than Jones.
Jones is a significantly better striker/standup guy. He is also absolutely elite at NOT getting taken down. He stays on his feet and has incredible balance. His reach is insane.
It is going to be a bit difficult to get inside on Jones, but if anyone CAN do it, it is DC.
Its a pretty interesting fight.
