Just spoke to #Bengals RB Joe Mixon’s agent, Peter Schaffer, who says the misdemeanor charge against Mixon will be dropped Friday.

The sad thing here is that even if the charges are dropped, just him being associated with this event is and will stay with him now.

This thread is proof of that. Everyone had him on the gallows before all info came out. I always say wait at least 24 hours if not longer before forming opinion until facts come out. Our press is mostly fake and built on clicks/hype instead of facts.
Most everyone here knows how bad our press is but when it suits their needs then “press is factual and honest”. This thread is perfect example of gang mentality

I agree with you on the press. The only time they tell truth is when it suits them.
But this has nothing to do with the press. The cops investigated it and determined that he committed a crime and a warrant was issued. Just because the DA declined to press charges doesn’t mean that he didn’t in fact, pull a gun on a woman and state, “You should be popped in the face. I should shoot you now.”
Not that this is the case but you have DAs these days that flat out refuse to prosecute crimes. That doesn’t mean crimes weren’t committed.

Thank god, I hate it when upstanding citizens are falsely accused of crimes that they obviously would never commit. Mixon has always been a level headed guy, and since there apparently isn't video of the "alleged" incident, the biased media won't be able to drag his name through the mud using "evidence".
