The FSU showtime series is gonna be awesome this year. I wish I had that channel

ETA: That's probably why Jimbo's pre-game speech was so bad last night. He was trying too hard for the premium channel.

Was thinking the same thing

Jimbo has improved a TON over the past few years.

It's pretty funny that both Jimbo and Dabo were considered bafoons early in their careers, but now they've grown so much in front of our eyes. Jimbo is absolutely now top 5, and Dabo is knocking on that door.

Who woulda thought that was possible 5 years ago?

A great coach that would be stupid to leave FSU for LSU. He was never going to LSU last year even if Les got fired but LSU fans will try to convince the world that he was coming but the AD and President stopped it. bullshite! I don't know how it went down but I would bwt that the story is more like "LSU attempted to get Jimbo , Jimbo laughed , LSU looked around and found nobody worthy that would take job and decided to stick with Les". But y'all keep lying to yourselves , it's funny.

With all that he still reminds me of "small town southern guy who makes outlandish claims" during interviews.

could be he reminds me of someone I can't quite remember

Completely agree. Why in the world would you leave the machine he's built in FSU to restart LSU? Makes no sense to me.

What adjustments did he make from a tactical standpoint? Did he change anything about his offense? Did they change anything on defense? Did they play a different front? Change coverages? Blitz more? Etc? I just want to know. I didn't watch the second half. Was it really adjustments, or did FSU just play better? Or did Ole Miss and Kelly just choke? You always hear fans talking about these "adjustments" and I'm not saying there wasn't any, but I'd like to know exactly what they changed in the 2nd half.

He got the Oline to stop false starting on every first down.

Other than that, I didnt see much difference. Both teams relied on 4 man fronts to get pressure altho Ole Miss edge rushed more. FSU did it once when there was a RB beside Kelly and that pressure led to the last INT.

I think the cushion Ole Miss was giving was their biggest prob on defense but maybe they didnt feel they could cover Rudolph deep. Kelly also seemed to only look outside the numbers alternating between throwing the go route and the backshoulder. Both worked pretty well but he missed a couple of open guys.
