I'm betting you saw Jay Bruce. Joey Votto and Homer Bailey were a few years before that year.

Jay Bruce CRUSHED it in single A ball. He moved up to Lookouts (AA) and crushed it as well. When he got sent up, my friend (guy named Cody Strait) got sent down because he was injured (fouled a ball into his eye and broke his orbital sockets). So I was always bitter that Jay Bruce knocked my friend down and ruined my free tickets.

Idk if yall remember my rule against betting totals in games with teams that have wildly contrasting styles, but it cost us a couple easy wins tonight. Grizz 2Q and 1H overs were some of the strongest numbers on the board

Bobcats 2Q and 1H were the strongest numbers tonight, and those barely hit. Spurs 1H was the weakest that I released and that hit the easiest, of course

I loved going to the lookouts, I remember being the most impressed with chatanooga, tennesse smokies, and the Jackson braves having the stadiums that stood out. The locker rooms for the lookouts was the best (road team wise) that I can remember for minors.

EA: Jay Bruce is such a stud tho

I LOVE the new stadium. It brought the Lookouts back to life when they moved the stadium to the downtown riverfront.

BUT the old Engel Stadium has some GREAT baseball history.
-Had one of the deepest center fields in the country at 471 ft.
-Ready for this doozie? A GIRL struck out Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth during an exhibition game.
-Tons of famous people played on it.

It's a great wikipedia to read: LINK

I played on it in high school. It was in disrepair. Made me sad. But they recently filmed the movie "42" there last year. And they did some renovations. So hopefully it will be used more.

Where'd Carson go? He started the thread then disappeared. Was he in on this profitable night?

13-7 in NBA with 2 pending, using a mixture of Mac's plays and some of my own. +6u right now.

2-0 in NHL with two pending (Calgary/Vancouver u5.5 goals and Canucks/Coyotes ML parlay), up 3u as of now.

1-0 in tennis right now (what the frick am I doing betting tennis ) that put me up another 6u, with one pending.

that's why I love minor league baseball. Besides all the hilarious promotions and the biscuits. So much baseball history in all the towns

This song is minor league baseball: LINK

Damn it. Now I wish it was baseball season. This song reminds me of minor league games and warming up for HS games. Who wants to go toss the ball around?

Oh, I'm not. I'm just amazed at how well I'm doing right now, when I finally put enough money online to do something with.

As of now, 44 units in a week in a half. Good God, I should just retire now.
