Oh wrong again by the way.

quote:

Ranked first offensively last season, the Rockets were second this season but with an average of 114.8 points per 100 possessions, slightly better than last season. Since the All-Star break, they have been slightly better defensively this season than last. “That’s just us being together for a bit now,” Tucker said. “Our core, Chris and James, when they get to getting us going, when they’re pushing (and) when they’re aggressive, they make it easier for all of us. So then me, Clint and Chris can really set up defense. We communicate well in our first unit. We all fight, argue, talk all the time. But in the end, we all get an understanding, and that’s made our defense really good.”

If you honestly think this team is not better without Ariza or luc, you're ridiculous.
This is where it’s easy to tell that you don’t follow the team. It’s understandable as you’re not a Rockets fan.

But if you asked me in February if the Rockets were better than they were last season, I would have said no. If you ask me today? I say yes, no question.

It was a tumultuous season before the all-star break. But after the all-star break, everyone was healthy. Faried and Rivers had been worked into the line-up and fit well. Danuel House, who fits in very well, re-joined the team, and Chris Paul put it in another gear.

I honestly think Chris Paul was taking it easy until the all-star break to save himself for the stretch run and the playoffs.

They’ve been flat-out great since the all-star break.

#2 rated offense, #2 rated defense, and #1 net rating (by far).

James Harden set an NBA playoff record the other night.

Harden's 0-of-15 start was the most missed shots in a row to start a game in playoff history.

And somehow the Jazz couldn't win. This has to be demoralizing for the Jazz. James Harden just posted one of the worst offensive performances in playoff history.

All this stuff's irrelevant to Harden's legacy unless it relates to an incredibly crucial game/juncture in the playoffs that practically determines the series' outcome, I'll allow it

I am not going to sit here and tell you harden played well in game 3 but it was different than the clippers and spurs ghosting.

Harden was still getting his assist and drawing all the defenses attention. He was active and engaged. It was an off night shooting, he looked complete lost or just didn’t give a frick in the other two games I mentioned. As a fan of the rockets, those two games made me question if he could win.

Saturday actually gave me some hope because he didn’t crumble when he wasn’t getting his. In fact, he rolled the ball out and won the game in the forth.

P the part about chris goes without saying. He is gonna miss 20 games and he isn’t gonna five you full effort all 82. At this point of his career the playoffs are the only thing that matters.
