Lebron did nothing in the clutch of that game besides a block. Nothing.

Harden had a block, but he also had a few assists and a bucket.

Boom is still comparing G7 vs a 73 win team in the NBA finals to G7 in round 1 to a rebuilding team

You're arguing to the merits of Harden in the playoffs, but ironically you're proving everyone else's point by even throwing out this comparison.

ETA: "Ironically" by the standards of the average MSB poster. Pretty par for the course by Boom standards.

Cleveland was better both years.

OKC might have been “rebuilding” but they were the 5th seed in the west with several veteran players.

These narratives y’all spin are like MSnBc.

Where’s the lie WCA?

Paul
Adams
Schroeder
Gallo

an elite young player in SGA

Outplayed a veteran “contending“ team in Utah to get the fifth seed, right?

All of their best 5 would be the 3rd best player on the lakers. There will be 3 weaker spots out there v LA than anyhting okc had out there.

Playoffs are about weak spots a lot the time and lake show has an awful lot of weak spots.

Lakers earned the one seed and right to face 8 seed for a reason, but Dame and CJ healthy pushes them to at least 6, but they won the series as expected.

Paul and SGA for sure.

Lu Dort outscored James Harden by 13 points in a do or die game 7.

I’m dead. What’s better is you guys have 2 of the worst contracts in basketball on the books for years and ZERO draft picks.

OKC is a not good team who has problems offensively who got by on an unsustainable amount of close wins. I wouldnt be surprised to see them be the team we thought they would be next year and they miss the playoffs

They aren't a good team

It’s the Western Conference, friend, one can have LeBron James and miss the playoffs.

Problems on offense? Well that’s not necessarily indicative of success this year, as the Lakers offense isn’t great.

OKC ran a utilitarian offense through 3 point guards to make up for mediocre shooting. Chris Paul, if he stays, will play more off ball, something he can do with moderate success.

OKC is a good team. Dismissing them now is just another way to shite on the Rockets, which I’m fine with.

The Western Conference is full of good teams and talented rosters.

Sorry. But aside from CP3 they are not that good... if the Tockets had played Utah or Denver in the 1st round the would have gotten beat.

it would be like saying lake show a good team because bald led us lol

if dort leads your team you're not good. it actually could be easily to argue that you're in fact really bad

So is that a failure by multiple front offices, including the Lakers, that Dort is might be a good player?

Or that the Rockets duped the Thunder into letting Dort trying to win the game?

OKC had quality wins all year because they are a good team.

Spinning it any other way is just a transparent attack on the Rockets. It’s like Rachel Maddow is posting here.
