I like JD, I really do, but what part of film did LSUs coaches watch of ASU did they watch and go "wow we need him".
This is exactly who he was there, make some splashy runs and an occasional big throw, but otherwise he's bang average.

It’s like watching ND in big games over the Kelly tenure all over again.
Everything ND fans said about Kelly is still true. Being at LSU doesn’t change that. Shits himself in big games. Always takes the kick in the opening half. Can’t run the ball against good teams. QB’s don’t develop. Etc etc etc.
I’m pretty sure every single ND fan I know have a hearty chuckle when Kelly hired Denbrock. What a hilariously and completely nepotistic hire so typical of Kelly. But hey, that $100M is guaranteed.

Nah, Kelly will be fine. He needs to make some changes in the off-season, but this team was depleted and had a ton of issues before he was hired.
