After seeing TCU fall in the ranking and their last 2 games against 6-5 Texas (although an improved Texas team) and Iowa St, they do not have control f their own destiny. IMO adding a Championship game would give them a better chance to get in.

I know they have said they are happy at 10, but if I am the Big 12 I would be a bit frustrated. Need a Championship game

Every team plays every other one, it's a lot better system than the SEC where it's the luck of the draw cross division. Would they cut one of the games?

This cuts both ways and the championship game can frick you over, too. If someone were undefeated in the round robin, there would be no issue. It's just a fluky set of circumstances that everyone likes TCU's resume more, but Baylor beat them head-to-head. It will be funny if the committee punts on the B12 debate by just taking Ohio State.

They have to add two teams and actually get back to 12 first. No way they could do it by next year, but maybe they will act quickly for 2016 if the committee screws them.

It's cool they all play, but even if they weren't screwed out of the playoff, they're missing out on revenue other P5's aren't from the event.

UT v. Huskers 09 was a crazy game. Seems like forever ago.

It sure would've helped Oklahoma State back in 11.

Why?
There's a reason why the big 12 moved to three bye weeks so that their teams play on championship Saturday. The goal is to stay in the eyes of the voters. Baylor will be playing Kansas State that week.
It really isn't he big deal people are making it out to be, the league just needs to be creative with the games they schedule that week.

Yep, this year for example a conference title game could frick over FSU who should be sitting pretty in the clubhouse at 12-0 but instead theyll need to win one more game vs Duke/GT.

Hell, Im sure Oregon or Alabama would prefer to not play a conference title game at this point as well.

Yep, and if Baylor would have scheduled at least one P5 team in the OOC they'd be almost certain to be in the playoff at 11-1

Are you stupid?
Oklahoma State played #12 OU and blew them out on championship Saturday while Alabama was sitting at home.
How the frick would have a championship game helped?

They should have gone after Louisville with everything when they had the chance...they messed up badly.

This year it may work out.

Even still, neither Big 12 team is getting in over Ohio State or Mississippi State unless both of those teams lose.

If TCU and Baylor were playing again on Championship weekend, it would make a huge difference.

It matters.

They should add Boise State and UCF so the Big 12 will cover the entire country like apparently they want to do since they added West Virginia.

If Wisconsin wins out and loses to tOSU in the Big 10 title game, this will happen.

It's about TV money and revenue. When you add two teams, you have to split the pot 12 ways instead of 10 ways like it is now. So the two teams you bring in must bring in more ratings and $$ than what they take so each school can get a bigger piece of the pie.

Eta - Boise State isn't going to get it done. They should have added Louisville and another school back in 2012 when they added WVU.

What's the point of them playing again?

Baylor is playing, Kansas State who's highly ranked. TCU got screwed in the scheduling because no on expected them to be in contention, but they will be playing and could claim a championship that weekend while Miss state is at home.
