I never made this claim, but to say that it is worth nothing is shortsided. If Jordan never played a down of football and was an accountant, I could see your point. It's the same reason why Cooper Manning is more qualified to talk football than your average joe. I'm willing to bet he could get a job at the SECN tomorrow if he wanted.

The issue you’re having here is that he’s a radio and television personality
He’s not an analyst
He’s paired with an ex athlete.
What they bring in experience on the field/court/rink etc, he brings in actually knowing how to get listeners or ratings
That’s how shows like that work , you’ll rarely see two former players do a radio or TV show
That’s also why they do that in sports
You have a play by play guy and a color guy/analyst
Play by play guy is there for the voice and calls the plays, color analyst is the guy that comes in provides insight on the play since he has experience playing the game
He’s not an analyst
He’s paired with an ex athlete.

Not really, Jordan just does play by play as well. They are both on TV shows breaking down on field play and optics. I get what you're saying. Nick Wright isn't in the booth. You're getting hung up on the language and not the principle.

The only thing they do similar is talk about a sport
But they are not the same
Nick has his own show, he’s is asked to do far more than Rodgers
That said, he’s not doing what Rodgers does, as he’s not a former player
