He was on pace. He needs to have a few more great years which I don’t think he will.

The answer is 'probably', even if people don't want to hear it. Its not going to be a first or a second, or even a third ballot type of thing-- he'll be one of the guys who sneaks in on the back of a ballot.

3 time All NFL
5 time All Pro
56 sacks from the interior line.

He doesn't have gaudy stats, but the three times All-NFL is very noteworthy-- this tends to be a position where you don't stay at the top very long, and its more than most of the Hall of Famers on the inside of the line have on their resumes.

I don't know. Five Pro Bowls and making first team All-Pro three times is pretty impressive. But then you realize that there are four DTs from the last 15 years who clearly have better resumes than Suh in Geno Atkins, Kevin Williams, Richard Seymour, and Aaron Donald. Are all of those guys HOFers? And would HOF voters be willing to vote for a player who was at best the fifth best player at a non-skill player position during his era?

Hall of Fame doesn’t cut you much slack after you have stomped on a few player’s heads

Yeah, those guys are all No Doubt Hall of Famers. It helps Suh that he plays more of a traditional NT than any of these guys, so his stats aren't going to need to be as gaudy

Wonder how much slack they’re going to give to modern PED offenders like PP7 and Von Miller.

Donald is the only one of those who compares to being as good as Suh.

Might want to check out Seymour’s resume.

Suh is absolutely a HOF. Geno and Gerald are better asks.

No he’s not. Plenty of non-QBs with 3x time All-Pro selections are not in the HOF.

That's All-NFL, not All-Pro.

And they don't play NT. Those guys are very very very few and far between-- and we've kind of lived in a golden age for interior defensive linemen.
