They already changed rules with him in mind and he won mvp the next year.

TS This year is still better than Steph, Luka, CP,
Booker, etc. so he is still more efficient scoring than perennial all star types.

TS is down leaguewide, harden is one of the least affected players.

Happy that he can ride the coattails of embiid this year on a loaded 6ers team. Now when he dissappears in the playoffs embiid will be able to help a lot.

that is a dumb take. Harden has a great handle, elite passer, good three shooter, is strong to hoop and has elite body control. He would be good in any era.

Good. Not one of the best offensive players ever.

Denver double teamed harden to make him give the ball up to embiid. Let embiid play 4 on 3.

Since when is riding coattails spoon feeding your teammates easy bucks.

The best according to many. He is the one player who you put him on a team and you will have the top offense in the league. I believe it is going on 6 years now his team offense finishes 1 or 2 at seasons end.

Someone like lebron has not had a better team offense than the one w harden since Bron was in Miami.

nah he probably still would be. It is one thing to be to call him a choke artist, he is. He is still an incredible scorer and that skill set would travel generations

Efg does not take FTA attempt into consideration.

It is better than fg%, but Ts% is better and there is no argument against it.

Has probably never lost a series when he had the better team. Did you ever look at Cp and Russ HOU playoff stats?

Did you ever acknowledge Jims disappearing acts in 4th quarters of several of those games?

Which is why it’s better than TS%

Other than it’s adds a component that players have no control over and that changes depending on the date and time of each game

Yea bc getting fouled and getting to the line is a bad thing efg meaaurea shooting efficiency. Ts measure scoring efficiency.

It’s subjective, changes for every player, and is lame as hell.

true shooting % is correlated to team wins. The higher the teams TS, the more games they in. EFG does not have anywhere close to the same correlation to winning games. Gettin to the free throw line is the most efficient outcome a possession can have on offense other than a dunk or wide open layup.

I’m sure it does

Seemed to correlate very nicely in the 2002 LA vs Kings game

Should Shaq have gotten to the line more than refs let him?

TS%

HOU V GSW

Harden .594
KD .589
Steph .539

V lakers

Harden .664
Lebron .567
AD .663
Russ .479

V celts

Harden .761
KD .693
Kyrie .630
Tatum .577

As you can see he has had a better TS than Bron, AD, Steph, KD, etc etc the last time he faced off with those guys in the playoffs.

Higher volume and better Efficiency makes it clear cut as to who the best player is in a series.
