i feel like the thunder won the western conference last night. i will be completely shocked if the mavs win one in OKC. (i know we won at staples and the Rose Garden...i know we are a good road team etc...) but i just dont see it happening. maybe i am being paranoid, i dont know. We played really well in game 1 and still almost lost (all yall told me that and i ignored it) and we got beat "fairly" easily last night. im afraid we go down in 6 now ...but hey im a classic overreacter....i will be back to thinking about the larry o' brien if we win saturday ...i hate the feeling of knowing we arent in control of the series anymore with the homecourt

I don't think it's a terrible overreaction.

Like you said, sans a ridiculous game from Dirk in Game 1, Mavs probably lose that one.

I got into an argument with my buddy about the Mavs before this series, because I didn't think they were a great team and he thought they were gonna win it all.

Dirk is great, but when your second best player is a 6th man... that's not good. No one is good enough to win championships by themselves.

You do realize no one, and I mean no one gives a shite about what you have to say, right?

First post said it perfectly, this isn't your damn blog.

I actually don't love the Thunder either.

I think the "real" finals is between Miami/Chicago.

Durant or Rose I wouldn't mind seeing win a title... however Rose has Noah and by that I eliminate him and root for Durant

Yes

Completely. There's no reason to go from super confident after game 1, to defeated only ONE game later.

The overreaction was the same in the ECF as well.

It's one game. They will be fine. Remember, the Grizzlies gave them everything they had.

I think the Mavs will rise up and take the series. Take things game by game.

They will be fine.
