Apparently they can gamble on shite like nascar and horse racing but nothing “sponsored” by the NCAA… which apparently the MLB NBA and NFL are?

And then people will just use bookies to bet college baseball and we are back to square one. If you want the least amount of controversy it needs to be legal and regulated.

According to the Athletic there were athletes from other sports involved at both Iowa and Iowa State including football basketball, track and wrestling.

Got news for you, college athletes gamble, always have. I think half the guys I played football with had a bookie in the 1990s. Remember buddies phoning in their bets on the Hawaii game on a last ditch effort to break even on the day.
