do u think they are really nervous about being shown up and getting rolled in the finals? great players thrive in those situations, but what happens when there are two great players on different teams? they have to be somewhat nervous, despite what they say

kobe and lebron. there has not been a build up for two guys meeting up like this ever. even when bird and magic were goin at it, there wasnt so much media coverage following it 24/7. i just wonder if they are nervous of getting there and not only bein upstaged by the other guy, but getting wiped away in the series.

I dont agree with that. That rivalry is still talked about all the time, 30 yrs after it started.

No. Part of what makes them great is not believing losing is a possibility. None of them go into it thinking they could lose

i do not buy this for a minute. everyone has fear, everyone has concerns. just bc they are great does not mean they are nervous about performance. you can be confident and nervous at the same time i believe.
