bullshite.

They didn't open up the playbook and let it fly but yet without that win...no shot at the NC. He's played against the "good" teams...
He played against a DECENT team. And that was ONE GAME that the DEFENSE WON./

RP no question.
I would take him as a late second day pick.
RP will be a better NFL QB than Tebow.
Tebow was an amazing College QB, but he won't be a good NFL QB.

I wonder how many people realize Jacksonville State is NOWHERE NEAR Jacksonville, Florida.
if this was targeted at me, learn to read my post; Jacksonville would take both because Tebow is a big name around that region (near Gainesville) and might get more fans in the seats
Perrilloux is obviously the better prospect
ETA: and PJ, you were watching when Perrilloux lit up Tennessee in the 2007 SECCG, right?

perriloux is good. He has a lad of talent no doubt about it. I'm anxious to see him at the combine.

Exactly. RP in the 5th or 6th is a way better value than Tebow in the 1st or 2nd

calling bullshite against his stats for 2007
All I know is that you used the SECCG from 2007 as THE game. TENN gave up 27 ppg that year and he could ONLY muster 14 points on them. Get out of here with that crap.

How many times has Perriloux been in prison? Surely it's in the double digits.

i used it as THE game he started in the SEC... don't get your panties in a bunch... read the whole post and you will see EXACTLY what i was saying

if you have CBS college sports channel you can watch the Texas vs The Nation game on the 6th. He is one of the QBs for the Texas team.

PF is on the whole team. But these stats are on the QB. And yes, he had great WRs that helped, but he'll have WRs of that caliber almost anywhere in the pros, so that's irrelevant.
Perrilloux: 51/75 (68%), 694 yds (9.3 YPA), 8 TDs, 2 INTs, QB rating 175.6; 52 carries, 207 yds (4.0 YPC), 2 TDs
For a backup QB that got sparse PT throughout the year and two starts (MTSU and vs Tennessee), those stats are excellent.
ETA: forgot the UT stats, my bad
Perrilloux vs Tenn: 20/30 (66.7%), 243 yds (8.1 YPA), 1 TD, 1 INT; 9 carries, 14 yds (1.6 YPC)
Tennessee's defensive stats that year: 245.1 passing ypg given up, 59.4% opp completions
Perrilloux: 51/75 (68%), 694 yds (9.3 YPA), 8 TDs, 2 INTs, QB rating 175.6; 52 carries, 207 yds (4.0 YPC), 2 TDs

I am not shocked at all that you picked the white quarterback.

So answer my question about the TENN D in 2007. Don't tell me it was a great D. And RP had more mop up duty than anything else in 2007. If you want to love the guy thats you. The question is who would I take on MY team if I were a GM. I would take TEBOW all things considered.

You think Tebow will ever start at QB in the NFL?
