I could use Rhett Lowder from the very same 2023 season on a completely different team. Any time he pitched Wake Forrest would have a chance to beat the 2025 Rockies

It’s laughable that Paul skenes and Rhett lowder (in 2023) could have won a game against the 2025 Rockies with their respective college teams?

Let’s further my point using 2023
I already established lowder and skenes both being in Omaha that year
Another top 10 overall pick was a pitcher than year, Tennessee pitcher Dollander; you know, a starter for the 2025 Rockies…..
So that’s another potential game matchup that on any given day is a possibility for them losing in 2023

I'd argue the two or 3 best college teams talent wise in any given year would be about a High A level. Most Power 4 schools in my view would not even be at that level.

You not understanding that this is not the question is mind numbing. But the answer to your goal post move is almost certainly yes. If the Rockies could get a run (one) off Skenes they’d win.
And you’re using the best college pitcher in at least 15 to 20 years to try to make your point, which is still wrong. What an idiot!

And I’m saying they would be heavy favorites. But the way Omaha works it isn’t automatic at all because if they run into a stud pitcher they absolutely can lose
It’s the way baseball works as well as the way Omaha works that doesn’t make the answer automatic like football or basketball
So I gave you a very realistic Omaha scenario that actually was real life with real players and you just post emojis and don’t actually retort anything

We will assume they also be the number 1 seed too...lots of games at Coors field....with aluminum bats.
Can you say 30 runs in a single game?

meh, I only said the Rockies aren't likely to pitch 5 straight shutouts in response to someone saying they wouldn't allow any runs.
The chances of them losing a game to a college team would be very very slim and require them facing a pitcher like Skenes and some position players like Wyatt Langford, Dylan Crews, and Jac Caglianone. Basically, players that are fast track to the MLB level players and on the same team.

One team had multiple fast tracked big leaguers, and one of those two has sucked in the big leagues. Florida pitching would get crushed and Caglione and Langford (while in college especially) couldn’t slug Florida to a win on their own.
This has to be more of an arguing fetish than anything, there’s no way anyone can be this stupid

Not really. LSU had two players, Skenes and Crews. Wake had one, a pitcher. You may could have Skenes or Lowder hold the Rockies to a couple runs, but you also are going to have to score to win the game. Crews isn't doing it by himself, and Wake didn't really have any position players on that level. You're also talking about playing at a stadium in Omaha where college teams struggle to score against other college teams. (i.e., LSU and Wake went 10.5 scoreless until a walkoff home run in the bottom of the 11th inning). Now imagine a college team facing nothing but MLB pitchers in a game and trying to score enough runs to beat them.
