what do they do?

A) draft best available non QB
B) trade pick to a team that is going to give up a ton for Luck
C) draft Luck, trade Bradford

that would be a tough call.

i would see if i could get a first round pick for bradford

also keep in mind.. Bradford is the last year without the rookie scale pay we have now. so he's got like a 60 million dollar contract

in other words, if you can get a better QB , cheaper, you do it. you take luck and unload bradford if you cang et something decent in return.

a team like miami would give up a first to get a seasoned, good QB that doesn't have to sit on the bench.

funny....was texting a friend about this earlier. They are invested in Bradford and could get a couple of good starters and depth for Luck if they traded. If they kept Luck and traded Bradford how much are they losing because of the guaranteed money and his ultimate trade value? Luck will be better than bradford almost instantly imo.

I just hope they don't get to make that choice.

I couldn't imagine anybody trading much for bradford anyway.

forgot about the new rookie pay scale. If they wouldn't be fricked I don't see how this is even a question. Luck all the way.

Has the scale been announced?

They would trade the pick to improve their team. Sam Bradford got a massive signing bonus, no way they give up on him already.

They could easily trade their #1 pick to the Fins or Colts, take their #2 or so, plus next years 1st rounder

the rams would probably take a 10-20M immediate hit on their salary cap if they traded bradford

Sam Bradford can still be a good to great QB. He's got some scrub arse receivers and his offensive line sucks.

both will be relaly good QB's. I like bradford a lot actually. But you can get a better QB cheaper, that's younger, while still getting extra picks. it's just a win win.

then, a team like MIami, isn't really a BAD team they just need a QB, BAD. they get a NFL seasoned QB with upside that can step in ASAP

It's not like they have any chance to win in 2012

It's a QB driven league. I am sure most people would say Luck > Bradford (nothing against Bradford, he will probably be pretty good).

So wouldn't a year of a fricked salary cap be worth a better QB prospect who will have a much better long term contract if you can sling Bradford for some high picks?

The #1 pick would get you more picks than bradford would
