Then what is the point of having to do that? The experts who pick the playoffs can’t watch games and see that a team has put the opponent away for themselves? They actually have to see the differential get worse? That is dumb. Alabama isn’t going to lose and won comfortably whether or not they go over 50 or auburn scores a late one to make it 14. Anyone who watched the game should know neither of those scenarios should mean anything. But I guess it does

You'd be surprised at how many people have votes on major polls or a heisman vote that hardly watch CFB at all

this ^^^^^^^

they vote on popularity based on their own previous bias views, with no reflection at all, to how good or bad teams are. many of them only vote for teams they see on the highlight clips or the media talks about
