Any coach would take the chance to restore ND to their past years.
Haven't there been several coaches over the years to turn them down? I know Belotti turned them down years ago.

IMO Notre Dame is the premier coaching job in the country.
1. It pays the best.
2. It gets more publicity than any other program.
3. Probably the richest school in the nation.
4. Its own TV contract
5. The largest fan base in the nation
6. A chance to be recognized as a coaching legend. Not just a great coach.
Not for the faint of heart though. The most pressure of any coaching job in college.
Ill go out on a limb. I think Meyer takes the job
somehow.
Its not for the weak

I agree with this.

If he wins his 3rd NC this year and with Tebow going he has nothing left to prove at Florida.
He has a big enough ego to think he can turn it around. Takes a big ego to succeed there I think. Plus he has always wanted this job and I hear his wife hates Gainsville.

Meyer's wife is NUTS. Fact.
If I was Notre Dame I wouldn't hire Urban unless he leaves that bitch at home.

Yeah, but it still took record millions to get him. And he made up his best story to benefit the situation. Doesn't everybody do this?
It is what it is. He's the Larry Brown of College Football. Congrats to Bama for getting him for a few years.
Where should I start with this....
He gets paid roughly $4 million a year.... he's not even the highest paid coach in his own damn conference.
Made up a story? What story? Alabama was a better opportunity at the time any damn ways.
Larry Brown of College football? He's coached at 3 colleges as the HC, the same number as Urban Meyer and Steve Spurrier.
