That makes no sense to me considering he picked up his first career win in New Orleans a couple of years ago. Btw, looking forward to being out at the Zurich Classic on Saturday.

I'm sure he got paid a hefty appearance fee by the Chinese sponsors.

Top 30 players get close to or at 1 mil just to show up oversees. Financially its a no brainier

That's what I figured although I'm not sure that top 30 only get that high of an appearance fee. He probably did get that appearance fee but it was probably for being a recent major champion instead.
I guess you do have to take advantage of that situation and the appearance money that comes with it while you have it. The Chinese certainly aren't afraid to throw huge appearance fees at the top players. It's such a weird point in the schedule to take that trip although a million dollars is a million dollars.

Now things have just gotten weird. Apparently the LPGA short skirt tournament is more important than the Zurich Classic. I'm sitting here waiting for the 8:30 PM replay of the first round of the Zurich Classic yet they are STILL showing live coverage of the first annual "Short Skirt" classic where they usually cut away for any first round tournament regardless of how important it is. It is literally like N.O.W has compromising pictures of Golf Channel execs and they promised not to release the photos as long as they show as much LPGA golf as possible.

It's 9:45 PM and there is still LIVE coverage of the "Swinging Skirts" tournament when the Zurich Classic coverage was suppose to state an hour and a half ago. Perfectly illustrates my point in the OP. It's almost as if the LPGA has compromising pictures of the Golf Channel executives and is threatening them if they don't show LPGA golf ahead of all others.
