That is why the whole argument is kind of stupid. Lebron would post MJ up the entire time probably. Neither could guard the other due to their skill sets and sizes.

When Kobe is batman and not robin for a team that wins at least 3 straight championships we can begin to talk about how he is somewhat close to Jordan's league. Kobe isn't even close and is actually not that much better if at all than several other superstars in the current league.

The reason Lebron is considered possibly on the verge of greatness is he is a superstar that can play at least 4 positions.

NO NO NO

Kobe is the closest to MJ in terms of basketball style of play and competitiveness

That being said Kobe is no MJ. MJ is still the one

Lebron cannot compare to Kobe or MJ because he's 3 1/2 inches taller, 50 lbs more weight. No one will be like Lebron. But don't say Lebron is in his own world. He is not even close to the level Michael Jordan was on. I think both Kobe and MJ have a higher talent level and mental level than Lebron in playing the game. Lebron is just so much superior in physical ability and it helps him dominate the game. Lebron doesn't have the array of shot making ability and fluidity dribbling the basketball the MJ and Kobe had

Not trashing Lebron. I just thing his domination is mainly due to his god given physical ability. I do not think his is more talented as a basketball player than Kobe or MJ

you have a point with the shot making talent thing, but one of lebron's biggest assets is his basketball iq. he seems to have a much better natural understanding of the game than kobe IMO. kobe's shot selection has always been one of the biggest things holding him back from being able to reach a jordan like level of dominance. gotta disagree with you on the mental thing

MJ would put up ridiculous numbers if he played against defenses now. The Bad Boys of Detroit he had to face would be suspended for the way they basically took out anyone who came in the lane. The guys in the league now can't even be hand checked.

Could be. I think players today are faster and can stay in front of offensive players better. I think the bad boys had to be more physical because they weren't that gifted athletically as compared to players today

I agree with that. Kobe has the ability to dominate like Jordan. He's done it before. The game that he reminded me of Jordan was a couple of years ago versus the Hornets in the arena. He would catch the ball and the free throw line corner post up and hit the turn around jumper. He just doesn't post up any more unless its in crunch time.

LeBron could stop MJ I think..if it was game 7 and everything was on the line..LeBron would win.

Worst post ever. Michael Jordan became "Michael Jordan" because of his playoff dominance.

Best postseason performer ever.

Whatcha think Mike?

MJ and Lebron are are completely different types of players. MJ still holds the upper-hand on the "who is the greatest" argument IMO.

What does that have to with his ability to play Basketball at an extremely high level?

If any a player was ever given the benefit of calls night-in and night-out, it was Michael Jeffrey Jordan. And yes he still pushed off of Russell.

I started watching NBA when Bird and Magic were the main men. I viewed the growth of Jordan and the greatness that was. I feel Kobe is about as equal to Jordan as there is.

Labron James is in a different world. Michael Jordan is no Labron James. This kid is so amazing to watch. Ive become a Cavs fan bc of James.

You are crazy!!! MJ is still the King and Lebron has yet to prove he can do this against inferior competition.
