I can't understand why you people can't understand the very basics of what you are discussing. The first objective of a HC is not, in fact, to win games. The second objective of a HC is not, in fact, to win games. It is a business. Coaches are not coaches in college and pros. They are business managers. Coaching is part of the responsibilities, but it is only one of many job responsibilities.

In the NFL, you have either been fired or you are about to be.
Belichick, Kubiak, Carroll, Coughlin, Dungy, & Shanahan were all fired at previous stops before they became Super Bowl winning coaches.

He cursed the Cowboys twice
Once as a HC then when they brought him back to be DB Coach. I get he was hired as HC since he was a lifer there, but after you fired him why bring him back? That is like when the Chiefs fired Gunther and then brought him back as DC later.

Overall consensus among Giants fans and the media was this was an awful hire.
They've also all but buried Eli Manning. guy needs to hang it up, it could get ugly.

His Post game press conference last night shut the media up. He explained what and why. They had no answer for him. I thought he did well in it and brought facts that they can't manipulate on him.
As far as bad as the offense is, they cant survive OBJ not running correct routes, Solder not blocking, Barkley not blocking, and Eli doing dumb. It is not all on Eli like this board wants to think.
