The NFL Network's coverage of Brady Quinn tonight in this game is now the most obnoxious thing I've ever seen.

Not too many QB's get this after their first half of football in the NFL

Not much else to talk about in this game, and those are pretty good stats for 1 half (but didn't Quinn play some last season?)

Situation is different.
He's been on the bench learning for a season and a half, he's got a pro bowl LT, a pro bowl TE, a pro bowl RB, and a pro bowl WR. This is a team that won a lot of games last year, his job is more of managing the game.

And lets not forget who he's facing.

Has he completed a pass to a wide receiver?

He's averaging about 8 yards a pass attempt.

By the way, Matt Ryan had a better debut. Brady Quinn is light years behind this guy, and Ryan's been in the NFL for 8 games.

And he was drafted 3rd, not 22nd.

Too bad he wasn't predestined for greatness because he's not a pretty boy and didn't go to Notre Dame.

He's even got Donte Stalworth involved and I think he's hit Braylon twice.

Denver is broken but still, there is enough talent around him, if they decide to show up, he's gonna have a pretty good rest of the season.

If he's the league and media-anointed "future of the NFL," then why did 21 teams, including teams that desperately need quarterbacks, pass him up?

By the way:

Stallworth: 4 catches, 48 yards
Edwards: 1 catch, 15 yards

Browns TEs: 13 catches, 135 yards

No, he didn't get the ball to the WRs very well.
