I agree. He was easily one of the best players in the league. I cant remember which year it was but I think he got screwed out of the MVP one year when Jordan got it instead.

Barkley was also one of the most efficient scorers in the league, as well. On the height issue...I read recently that before Jordan was drafted, Pat Riley said Jordan was closer to 6'4" than 6'6", and that made a big difference...But I never heard anyone else question MJ's height.

Been a big fan of him since Auburn days when he dunked on people and the threw the ball at them.

most NBA heights have healthy inflation built in. For that matter most men who are not professional athletes also add an inch or two to their real height
Magic Johnson is always listed as something like 6'8" but when he shows up on Howard Stern Howard is the same height or taller
Jordan and Barkley were probably more like an honest 6'4".

Barkley is UNDER 6"5 100%. Magic is a legit 6"8, if not taller. IDK about Jordan because I have never met him.
