When the rams were good in stl it was packed, when they were the worst (well thanks Cleveland) the attendance was bad. Most franchise have this problem.
We had an awful coach during that time too. Tell me please Edward Jones dome wouldn’t be PACKED with this team

LA is not a bad sports city but definitely front-runners. Also when USC and UCLA are doing well LA is actually the biggest college football city out of the top 10-15 US cities, pretty much until you get to Columbus.
That said, traffic and spotty public transit coverage can make going to games there a pain. Also there will be no passenger rail anywhere near the new stadium, so if you are going to a game there in a few years and staying at the Renaissance downtown expect a 2 hour trip each way getting to/from the stadium.

I still think the Chargers move back to SD eventually
Going to have to find a new place to build a stadium because I believe the city has already voted to give the stadium land to SDSU to expand their campus and build a smaller football stadium for the Aztecs.

like New York, Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Denver are really lacking in things to do.
None of these have beaches with boardwalks where smoke shows ride beach cruisers in bikinis in Oct Nov Dec Jan Feb

You could do that any day though.
There’s 13 million people there. Should be packed every game.

There are things to do in every major city every Saturday and Sunday in the fall. I've been in Boston, Chicago, DC, and NYC on NFL regular season Sundays and those cities are so big and busy and don't have "downtown" stadiums, so if you aren't near the stadium you might not even know a game was happening.
Issue with LA attendance is about stadium location and traffic. The beach and bikinis can but fun but its not keeping your traditional football fan from going to the game. Even here during hunting season many folks don't watch any football on the weekends.

transplants. Native Los Angelenos haven't grown up rooting for the local NFL team since there was none.
It's going to take a generation.

That’s always the excuse for Atlanta but their soccer team had insane attendance.

That's not true at all.

Everyone who says that is just afraid of saying that no one wants to pay to go hang out with a bunch of black people for four hours

So you assume everyone doesnt work during the week
Why would you miss that opportunity vs sitting in traffic for 9hrs

I think one reason for the attendance was that soccer is still an expanding market, and most transplants probably come from places that do not have teams, especially if those transplants are from the south.

No I don’t.
There’s 13 million people. Plenty enough to fill the stadium hundreds of times over. These excuses are sad. NFL in LA just doesn’t work.

In a stadium that holds 78k. And it was all eagles fans last night.

When you dont live here it's easy to say this
Go to a bar on the beach with smokers and pay 8 a beer vs go to Compton on a College Campus and pay 17 a beer with a concrete seat and sit in traffic for 9hrs
Call it what you want

The Rams will be fine...the Chargers tho...they will be in trouble there
They are 11-3 and can't even fill out a 27k seat stadium
