I've heard it called as "disconcerting signals".
This, or imitating a snap count.

Stemming in football simply means a defensive line shift, i,e stemming from an eagle to a bear front.

How was SDSU screwed? They got caught doing something against the rules. As I said earlier I always thought it was 15 yds not 5. I saw BYU get it called against them few years ago and it was called unsportsmanlike

The only screwing that occurred was the whole team getting screwed by their one idiot D-lineman trying to force a false start on an already insanely long field goal. That guy cost SDSU and his teammates a bowl win because he's an idiot--the kick barely made it when the kicker hit it almost perfectly and it was 5 yards closer, so that kicker was clearly out of his range at the initial distance.

Point the finger at the player, not the refs. ULL deserves credit for this win. There's lots of home-grown Louisiana talent on that roster, and they're players that shouldn't be able to compete with a school that's heading to a BCS conference (and has had enough success to lose their HC to a school like Michigan recently), but they banded together and beat a BCS bound school. Props to them.

The ull defendor had his hand around the guys neck. Clearly PI

And the SDSU defender was practically making love to the ULL receiver in the endzone twice with no flags (twice). If you're gonna let them play that way great, but do it on both sides.
