I honestly don't think so.

I may be one of the current few, but I actually think many reasonable people see the homo lifestyle for what it is, a sexual proclivity as opposed to an all defining identity.

That or we'll evolve into a society that identifies everyone by who or what we like to frick. All of us demanding specific rights and protections (S&m American. Bestial American. blow up doll American, etc)

We won't see an active mainstream athlete come out until it is at least economically neutral to do so. Too much potential money to be lost (in theory) for someone to come out while playing

If it was economically beneficial to come out it would have happened already
