re: How good is passing for 305 yards, 2 TDs, with a 69% comp and 100.7 QB rating? Good game?

What a cool arbitrary stat.
30 TDs may me an arbitrary cutoff, but it equates to almost 2 TDs per games. And with nearly 2 TDs per, at a minimum, I wouldn’t call a the corresponding TD/INT ratio that is better than 3/1 something that is just some random arbitrary figure.

Drew has 4 seasons with a 3/1 ratio and 2 where he was one INT or one TD off. Also he has a 21/1 ratio this year which seems good

Also can you explain your original post? I assume you forgot a qualifier

Well maybe it was 32 TDs (2 per game) or maybe the total instances was higher, but I just mistakenly recalled the stat that some NFL writer tweeted this weekend.

The point is that 2ish TDs per game, and at least a 3/1 TD to INT ratio is extremely rare, and especially for an QB other than TB and AR.

Actually there are 21 instances, so either I mistook 21 for 12 (most likely), or the NFL writer who tweeted it did.

All seasons with at least 30 TDs and less than 10 INTs

That’s what Brady fans say because it’s all he’s got.

Yep, all he has is 5 Super Bowl championships. . .

Brees is my favorite QB of all time.

But Brady is the goat and nothing anyone will ever be able to do about that.

Brees/Saban/Bama/Miami’s team doctor is the craziest connection I can think of in sports. Would Louisiana trade the Saints Super Bowl for 3 Les Miles LSU National Championships and Saban/Brees maybe stealing a Super Bowl win or two away from NE on one of a string of 11-5 ish Dolphin’s seasons?

The gap between “Might not ever play again” and “Won’t miss a game the next 12 years while performing consistently at a Hall of Fame level” is phenomenal.
