Mike Brown is comfortable with him, and they're friends.

Strictly because of how bad they were before he got there. They are 5-3 by the way.

Mike Brown's a notoriously cheap, complacent, and inept owner/GM and as long as the Bengals continue to be profitable he could give two shits about whether the Bengals accomplish anything of positive note, reality of the situation

Fisher didn’t have a single winning season with the Rams.

Marvin made the playoffs 5 straight years with the Bengals.

But ok.

He has the video and the negatives..in a safe place?

Wonderful man and leader, but the jury is out as a HC?

Look up Steven A from last Spring, he went off on this subject for an hour. Was livid with Cincy over keeping Lewis after such a long putrid run of playoff chokes.

Don’t worry, they’ll finish 8-8, plus or minus one

The last time an Ohio team won a NFL playoff game, Bill Belicheck was the head coach.

Defeated his mentor Bill Parcells in that game too, year 49ers won the SB and Young threw 6 TD passes

And Marvin still has a higher career win % and more playoff appearances while coaching less seasons.

But ok Marvin is poor mans Fisher.

Signs I'm getting too damned old:

People don't recognize that a decade of Bengals mediocrity is a huge step forward over where they were.

Same reason Garrett still has one. He's in good with the right people.
