Hibberts size was a huge factor, but lets not act he was a Shaq like offensive presence down there... He beat them on P&Rs, and was really good with his back to the basket shooting over the top of Bosh and Haslem...

Parker and Duncan probably run the best P&R in the league, and Duncans post game is miles better than Hibberts... Duncan wont control the glass like Hibbert did, but I think the 2nd 7' in Splitter will cause big problems for Miami on the boards.

Its going to be a fun series... the Spurs have their problems with who will guard Lebron when Leonard is on the bench, and they have to account for Bosh on the outside which takes Duncan out of the post, leaving some lanes open for Bron and Wade

2 well matched, experienced teams will make for a fun finals

Spurs struggle with athletic teams. See OKC. Heat are not quite as athletic as OKC, but its close. Plus Heat have home-court.

Yeah, this is why I think the Heat will do better then they did against Indiana. After this Pacer series I do think Miami will probably lay a couple of eggs against the Spurs though. Timmy's crew probably takes at least one game by double digits.

Individual match-ups aside, Miami was clearly a better team then the Spurs this season regardless of what conference they were in. I agree that it doesn't mean shite now though. I think Bosh will redeem himself this series. He had no answer for Hibbert's size. Duncan is a better player then Hibbert (Even at Timmy's age) however he isn't as much of a match up nightmare that Hibbert was for Bosh on both sides of the floor. The big 3 will be able to be the big 3 against the Spurs and win the required 4 games out of 7 IMO.

A well thought out opinion

I disagree, but the games will prove one of us right in a few days

I just wanna see a good series. Frankly I could give a shite who wins.

Also I hope Chalmers gets owned. That guy just pisses me off. Thinks hes the shite every time hes on the floor.

Only reason hes even relevant is because of the fluke shot he hit against Memphis in college and the fact that hes on the Heat team.

Heck, Lebron, Wade, and Bosh hate his dumbass and they're on his team.

Meh, he's made some plays in the postseason. But I think we see more of Cole.

Hop on the Cole Mobile.

Garrett Temple would shut down LeBron like he did Reddick. Believe that.

I'd put Blair on him and give up the three all night. At least he won't post up. With Spitter or Duncan have help side to guard rim he won't be driving much. Just get super physical with him like the bulls did.

Im going with the spurs, based on matchups of personnel and style. I think Pop will find the right adjustments by game 2.

The spurs have a flexible line-up. They're good at exploiting mismatches or forcing help to leave people open. They can go big, or small. They seem to penalize teams for going big by setting 3 screens that eventually puts a big man on Tony Parker.

I think the heat try to stay small, spread the court and pop tries to use Splitter, Duncan and Diaw to clean up around the rim.

Lebron will get to the rim at will against Blair even if he's playing 5 feet off him on the perimeter.

Splitter and Duncan will have to find a way to protect the rim like the Pacers did. I don't see that happening, so they better play some great D on the perimeter, and Blair isn't the man to do that.

Tough match-up for the Spurs. Pop will dominate Spo, and Parker/Duncan will do their thing, but I'm not sure that will be enough.

I enjoy watching the spurs play basketball and I am a lebron james fan. I think that james is too much for any team in the league if his teammates are contributing.

He will get the trophy that eluded him in 2007 against the spurs imo and I think that's the concensus opinion.

This is lebrons time and he will be making it happen

I still think the first two games will be toss ups and after Lebron gets a feel for the players the heat will pull away

This makes a HUGE difference... The Spurs play the season to prepare for the playoffs against better competition...

I totally disagree with this.. The Spurs execute more flawless than any team the Heat will have faced in the playoffs so far.....YES The Heat may be more athletic but The Spurs are far superior when it comes to coaching and fundamentals.........
