I can't speak to Texas Baseball, but it was absolutely time for the other 2 to go.
Mack's later teams had zero discipline and that's a lot of the reason Strong had to clean house. He couldn't find a quarterback after Colt, while RG3, Petty, Dalton, Maziel, etc. were all tearing it up for lesser programs in the state.
Barnes was the definition of mediocre and clearly UT expects more, can't blame them for that.

no he didn't. he continually had top 10 recruiting classes.
now the argument is... were they really getting good players or developing it well?
they just thought they were getting 4-5 star talents when they were really just getting 2.5-4. ketch kept inflating their rankings to where they were sitting around smelling their own farts thinking it smelled good and not objectively looking at the talent itself.
