Edited. Btw, loved Mack as a coach at Tulane and Texas, I just find him hard to listen to as a color analyst.

I never understand why people care so much about commentators. If this was some nobody broadcaster, would you even notice?

I agree for the most part, I think musberger is awesome, and grew up listening to him, even though most dislike him. people have an irrational and illogical viewpoint of most commentators
HOWEVER, as a former coach who won a NC, the fact that mack brown verbalized to America that syracuse should/would run the ball on first down w/ 1:37 to go and clemson having no timeouts left, was unbelievably dumb. every middle school football player knows that you take a knee on 3 straight plays, win the game. to even CONTEMPLATE running the ball is asinine
