I know you think it's exactly the same. That's exactly why you don't get it. We've covered this.

I fail to see how wearing an NFL jersey makes someone look like a douche.

what alpha man would emasculate himself by wearing the last name of another adult male on his back? just lol

have some respect for your identity as a man. you think those same professional athletes you *worship* would ever wear your name on their backs? just lol

I'll admit, I see what you're doing, and it's very funny.

Likewise, there are many who do not see how visiting Europe and wearing orange velour sweatsuits on the streets of Paris makes Americans look fashionally inept (I don't know what velour is, but I heard someone make this point once). Not knowing this is a key ingredient in Americans looking like stupid Americans to Europeans (who supposedly know literally everything about clothes, or so we're led to believe), and not knowing why wearing a jersey is a douche move is a key ingredient in grown men wearing jerseys looking like douchey fanboys.

damn, you know a lot about fashion bro. I'm just gonna have to defer to your vast worldly knowledge of the male fashion world and look forward to your next red carpet special.

maybe I should travel to France to learn what clothes I should wear, or maybe you're just a dumbass.

This in no way changes the fact that if you wear a football jersey, you look like a giant douche. No need for you to try to go on the offensive against someone who is only pointing out something that is this obvious. This is your problem, not the rest of the world's.

I'm a tshirt sweatshirt baseball cap man. Polos just seem like old people clothes to me. When I turn 50, I'll have a more informed opinion

You sound very dapper. I remember being 16 and making fun of literally every single thing that didn't fall in with my way of thinking too.

You're doing it right now.

By the way, the idea that it's douchey to wear jerseys is very obvious. This isn't "making fun of every little thing." This is a thing that happens all the time that's here to be made fun of. It's like a mullet, or a chick with diamonds tattooed above her tits. I'm not a hairdresser or a tattoo aficionado, but when I see something and laugh, there's usually a good reason.

Unfair for me to include mullets in this argument, now that I think about it. Comparing dudes who wear jerseys to dudes who wear mullets is insulting to dudes who wear mullets.

So you can only wear jerseys of great players? You're retarded.

Also injuries can't be predicted at the time of jersey purchase

I'm not making any fricking rules here, and you can do wtf you want. It certainly doesn't piss me off as much as you, clearly. Sorry you have a weird fetish for other men that you want to physically look like you are them. Maybe the chicks like dudes like that where you are. I'm saying it looks dumb and trashy. I think its hilarious seeing middle aged men wear big arse football jerseys, its utterly hilarious and ridiculous looking. I loved jerseys when I was 9 years old….and many men act like I did at 9 when they're 35….
