Lakers, because the Hornets are pretenders and when the Lakers blow them out tonight, it'll be a sign of things to come.

How do you live in Mandeville and not like the Hornets?

Should be a hell of a matchup between the top two in the West.

this is why a lakers loss doesn't mean as much going forward. a lakers win however is a big for the hornets

yeah I have to agree with this. If the Hornets get rolled tonight it will show they need to make at least one significant move - which might not be all bad.

The Hornets will basically live and die by the 3 come playoff time.

get ready for your "top team" to fall back to .500 boss.

Suns have been the biggest surprise of the early season to me. They look strong.

ETA: Except, of course when the Hornets dominated them (again).

D West needs to get his game face on.

1) The Hornets are a good team, just overrated in the media. Utah is definitely the #2 team behind the Lakers.

2) David West is gonna be a liablity on defense in this game. Is Mo Pete really gonna guard Kobe? The lakers have 2 legit 7' guys and Odom, the Hornets can't defend them.

You're sooo knowledgable Krama.

Its awesome how you can so easily look at it objectively and not let your fandom get in the way.

Didn't posey slow down kobe in the finals last year when he was in the game? Oh and West is getting on my nerves every time he drives to the basket he'll scream AND 1! when he puts up the shot. STFU already.

That was with Garnett and Perkins behind him. Last year's Celtics were one of the top 15 defending teams of all time in terms of defensive efficiency.

We'll see a glimpse of the second round playoffs tonight. My hopes is that the Hornets can be convinced to make a move.
