Lafayette has a lot to do compared to every other city in the state except for New Orleans. I'm sure the players will enjoy the great food and I'm sure some of the players may even enjoy the downtown area.

NOLA may be a ghost town right now, but there is more to do there than Laffayette, plus the airport is nearby.

Are you guys for real? NOLA a ghost town?

Get the frick out of here. NOLA is better than even Pre-K levels as far as the Quarter, uptown, warehouse district.

One of the best cities in North America hands down.

Lafayette? GTFO of here you dorks

Food is all anyone from La. always talks about, I'm from there and know the food is great, but people from La. need to stop using that as a way to describe having fun. Young people today like young people in the past like myself wanna go to hotspots, clubs, upscale sportsbars, etc. and have fun. Is there a Dave & Busters in Laffy? no, there isn't one in NOLA either, but people always throw the French Qtrs. out for excitement, and to be honest, that is old, also.

in the old days, man. Look around you, all the other cities have passed y'all by. the ATL's, HTown's, Dallas', even some of the smaller cities like Birmingham.

You think the players wanna go to Dave and Buster's for fun? Lafayette has a ton of bars and clubs that that the players can enjoy if they want to.

You think the players value Dave & Busters more than the French Quarter and clubs in NOLA and Lafayette?

You're an idiot. Nobody honeymoons in Atlanta, Dallas, Birmingham. Nobody vacations in Atlanta, Dallas, Birmingham.

New Orleans is a world class city - in select company with Seattle, Miami, Chicago, New York, San Diego, and San Francisco.

Those cities you mentioned are for corporate hacks who enjoy taking the family to Carino's in the SUV and cookie cutter house.

Are you for real? Dave and Busters?

Dude - you are a fricking moron. NBA players have taste palates. They eat in the finest restaurants in the world. NBA players love New Orleans.

5 star restaurants, Vegas style casino, great strip clubs, 5 star hotels - all within ONE SQUARE MILE with no curfew.

No other city in America offers that.

I am sorry for your suburban worldview. Dave and Busters!

If you reread my statement, Dave & Busters is only a portion of what I mentioned, man. and if you ever been to one like I have in some of those big cities, rich athletes hangout in them more than anybody. but there are no upscale clubs In laffy that you are suggesting, and for as NOLA, like I said only locals hype the French Qtrs., a lot of those athletes have said they don't like to go drinkin like that all the time, thus, the other attractions like Dave & Busters.

speak for yourself Spanish boy. not everyone is into the French Qtrs. or the Warehouse District like your stupid arse. Like I said, in terms of outgoing places, NO's has been left in the dust by other cities, moron.

1. one lousy casino- whoopee doo
2. other cities have 5 star restaurants also, NO doesn't have the market cornered
3. 5 star hotels, yeah, ok
4. great strip clubs, strip clubs in ATL blows NO away, anything else?

for the record I am pretty sure they are having training camp in Lafayette for the LACK of distractions, not the abundant night life Lafayette has to offer

FYI they are probably staying at the Hilton on Pinhook and eating at chili's and outback everyday
