Hoiberg never had any business leaving Iowa State.

He was building something special in Ames. Plus he was treated like a king.

Now he has lost career momentum screwing around with the pros.

Can’t blame him getting more money to see if he can cut it.

Coaching the Chicago Bulls is certainly a promotion over coaching the Iowa State Cyclones.

I mean it just didn’t work out. I probably would have thought he would be a better NBA Coach than Brad Stevens given his NBA background. But you’re only as good as your roster as a coach.

I was quick to put the blame on him when Jimmy Butler criticized him, but now that it is apparent Butler is a douche, I’m not so sure he was at fault.

Ya boy Steve Prohm might be under a little pressure now.

13-18 last year and 4-14 in the Big 12. A similar season this year and he's canned and Hoiberg is right back in Ames.

You think so? He could probably jump back in the college ranks come spring and get a better job than Iowa State
