His Dad has managed his son’s career and every move since middle school like a carnival huckster. I got to see it up close and personal. Told anyone and everyone how much he (the Dad) loathed Saban for several years. Until he didn’t. Made a lot of tackles when he had a good defensive line taking up all the blocks, in the 2014 season, his stats dropped off. Great straight line speed, played extremely stiff and lacked a good crossover step. Have watched him pretty closely off and on at Bama and he excels at jumping into piles and being the second guy in.
And his Dad’s day job outside of relentlessly promoting his son is working as a shyster. The two seem to go hand in hand

I haven't read the entire thread, but has anyone addressed him being referred to as "his majesty"?

Nailed it. I would add, he has very low football instincts.

The fact he sued the mayor of New Iberia, JP Morgan, and Trudeau in the same suit is my favorite tidbit.
Don’t forget Morton’s Salt.

His delusions of grandeur are very real. He totally acts the part.
