I'd say crowd him and keep the pressure on him. I think a randy couture style would be perfect
But Couture's in that elite class of wrestler, as well. How does one combat that kind of style?

i for one am not purchasing another GSP event...ive purchased just about every one hoping somebody beats him and they all turn out the same...it depresses me

Rogan made a point, it's not like Hardy is w/out take-down defense or take-down skills..it was just impossible to stop GSP from taking the top position
Agreed. I thought I saw a couple of times that GSP left an arm our leg in danger's way that Hardy was setting up on.

Keep moving and try to make it a brawl don't stand in front of him. Take the technicality out of it. Balls to the wall style you can't be afraid of getting knocked out.

That's what I think. Do some Robbie Lawler shite and start swinging from the fences. Shake him up a little and get him out of his gameplan.

exactly Hardy was just looking for counter punches and trying to land one big shot. GSP just never really threw many punches on his feet and kept it on the ground

Yep. Hard to land a shot when your opponent is either halfway across the ring from you or is down at your knees with both arms around your legs.
Would seem that any opponent vs. GSP is going to have to immediately seize the iniative and get ultra-aggressive against him.

I still want to see GSP/Penn 3 before it's all said and done.
Posted on 3/28/10 at 12:22 am to smash williams
GSP nailed Penn's coffin shut during the last bout.
Posted on 3/28/10 at 12:25 am to shutterspeed
Penn can't stop GSP's takedown. It would just be a repeat performance of tonight

I was impressed with Hardy.
unfortunately the UK doesn't have the plethora of depth of wrestlers like north america does.
the biggest thing i think gsp has over these guys is being a natural freak athlete with his insane explosive hip movements, and his improved takedowns because of his training with many olympic wrestlers that came from eastern europe.

When asked if Fitch might be awarded a rematch next with St. Pierre, White described the wrestler as “in the mix.” White then suggested a bout between Fitch and his AKA teammate Josh Koscheck to determine a clearer No. 1 contender. Fitch declined the offer, to which White responded that the fighter must not want a title shot bad enough.
“If that fight happened, it would happen in our gym with the doors closed,” said Fitch.
“That would make a lot money,” deadpanned White.

Fitch and Koscheck need to get over that shite and fight.

I like how everyone is knocking GSP for being too good.

Soon after telling MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) about his plans for international editions of "The Ultimate Fighter," White said a UFC 113 co-headliner between top contenders Josh Koscheck and Paul Daley could have something extra riding on the line besides a potential title fight with UFC welterweight champion and UFC 111 main-event winner Georges St-Pierre.
"I'm working on something right now that I can't talk to you guys about because I don't have it done yet," White said of the Koscheck-Daley fight, which takes place May 8 at UFC 113 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. "But it has to do with that fight, so we'll see what happens."
Some rumors that TUF 12 will have GSP Vs Winner of Kos/Daley
