Gus Johnson is an insufferable loudmouth prick who tries to draw attention to himself and away from the game he's covering.
He acts like some game-winning shot in a meaningless game is Christian freaking Laettner. Give me a break.

Gus Johnson did the games in Dayton last night, so he's not scheduled until tomorrow. He's covering the four games in Cleveland.

I am a former PBP announcer and I have taught sports broadcasting in college. This is the difference between Gus and everybody else.
Take Jim Henderson the night of the Saints/Falcons game. When the punt was blocked, he shut up and let the screaming fans tell the story.
If Gus covered that game all you would have heard was him. "OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT A MIRACLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NFL MADNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
