guess since it's the NFL version of the Gumps it gets swept away.
Are you implying the NFL protects the Patriots?

Pats get to do wherever they want as long as that DB is Comissioner.

They bashed him on SNF pregame.

Yeah, they let Brady rest 4 games last year and then they won the super bowl!

Bashed is too strong of a word. But they criticized him and recommended suspension. Definitely didn't sweep it under the rug.

I mean in honesty it is funny how in sports you dont have to worry about the law at all
Dude took a blind shot to the back of a humans head and gave them a concussion, in a situation that had nothing to do with the game of football. But since he is wearing a football jersey, we dont care

The hit was obviously bad and I think Gronk should get a 1-2 game suspension. Even worse was how he tried to explain it after the game and then whine about how there was no flag for PI or holding on the play.
Football is an emotional game and I can see how that happens. I'm not saying that Gronk is the worst person in the world but he should be punished for that action.

quote:That is the explanation for why Gronk did it...unless you think Gronk would have still done it or something along the same lines if he caught the pass or actually saw a flag and knew he would get the PI call?

In that moment though you should not give a reason, because by giving a reason it sure makes it look like you are trying to lessen or somewhat justify your actions
Gronk is a meathead dumbass though so I understand

It is why he did it, seems odd to take such exception with what is basically a fact. It doesn't say you're excusing it, you're just stating why he lost his cool and did what he did.

I think the reason why he did it is because he is a mongoloid that is a thug POS that would be slinging drugs if not for football

His comments post game were funny. He started talking about his mentality behind why he did it. He started getting so worked up it was like his mongaloid brain put him back in the same mood. I thought he was gonna elbow drop a reporter.

Why are you laughing? It honestly makes no logical sense.
What Gronk did had absolutely nothing to do with the game of football or a football play. But since he is in a uniform he is allowed to do so without any legal repercussions. It is something that has never made sense to me
A hockey player once got in legal trouble though for doing something similar to Gronk
