This is the right move. This is a deep draft and next year's class isn't going to be nearly as good as this one. It is universally considered a weak year. 2018 is considered a historically bad year but 2017 isn't much better (still better than 2015 and 2018).
Allen would be a second rounder this year. besides he was injured and didn't play well for more than 2/3 of the year.
I believe that all the Duke insiders expect Duval to commit to Duke, so the starting line-up should be Duval, Jackson, Allen, Carter, Bolden with Trent Jr, DeLaurier, and Vrankovic off the bench. Knox is still in play but he could end up at FSU, Missouri, or UNC as well.
If he comes, then he's either starting at the 4 or the 6th man.

He is tripping, or putting his best foot forward, or getting a leg up on the competition, or....some other idiom that would imply that he is extending his legular appendage in an effort to impede his opponents in an athletic contest as to disrupt their balance and possibly causing an abrupt collapse onto the hardened playing surface, along with the accompanying deflections/denials of the truth following said occurrence and the general opinion that he is akin to an apparatus that women use to flush their vaginal canal as to prevent the accumulation of bacteria that sometimes results in an unpleasant and embarrassing odor, with the aforementioned product made popular by the company originally founded by University of Nashville Medical School graduate, Samuel Evans Massengill.
