Gonzaga also has been horribly unlucky in regards to seeding and placement in the tournament several times. They've lost to a ton of teams that went on to the Final Four and beyond and Davidson that year they made the Elite 8.

Gonzaga is a #1 seed. You haven't seen them play if you think otherwise.
