Not 1 of the 3 but have a lot to do with the tournament. Glad you guys from Baton Rouge come back and support us every year. You may be a little supprised with the greens when you get there.

No, I'm not A.B. A.B. does the 2 man in August and I also help him with that tournament. As far as the greens, we verticutt them yesterday and last week. The greens were good last year for a club our size with limited resources and they are 10 times better now than they were last year

Pretty high.. Look for the winner to be around 20 under..The cut should be under par as well.. Most of those guys can play ...

20 UNDER!!

Will the course setup be any different than what we normally see? And has Santa Maria ever sponsored a State Am? If so what was the winning score?

It's at the Bogalusa 9 hole course. It is terrible but draws some good players because of the Calcutta. One of the best calcuttas around.
Budweiser Bradley 4-ball is the best calcutta in the state IMO

Santa Maria has never hosted a state am but they did host a mid am many years back.. I think right around even par won that (three rounds)..

Where was this event held last year? Thought I read U Club? Did the winning score have anything to do with the club deciding their course was too easy?

It was held at U-Club last year, but I don't think the easy course had anything to do with them changing it

Santa Maria is having an Adams Tour tourney out there? That's a great get for such an old public course, good for them.

Scores will be low IMO, regardless of how they set it up...
