Louisiana vs #25 Appalachian State @ 11:00 ESPN

Cajuns finally get the win over Appalachian St. Levi Lewis balls out, Cajuns key to victory is not letting Zac Thomas beat him with his legs

Miami (Oh) vs Central Michigan @ 11:00 ESPN2

No clue about either team.

UAB vs FAU @ 12:30 CBSSN

UAB will win the CUSA championship. Bill Clark is a solid coach and Joey Freshwater is out the door.

#19 Cincinnati vs #18 Memphis @ 2:30 ABC

#18 Memphis wins again, they have too many playmakers and a lot more team speed than Cincinnati.

Hawaii vs #20 Boise St @ 3:00 ESPN.

Boise is the same ole Boise. They won’t lose to Hawaii in Idaho.

Such provocative analysis. Who would have thought that some dumbass would chime in with nothing to add to the topic.

FAU is going to slaughter UAB.

I think FAU is the better team, they just won’t have a coaching staff come the weekend IMO.

UAB plays pretty sound football for the most part. FAU has more talent and they're playing at home. Vegas doesn't expect a slaughter. My book had it -7.5 last night. I'm staying away from it.

I'm all over appy state in Boone though.

Cincy will have their starting QB back, though. Hopefully, that doesn't make things too interesting for Memphis.

Why do you say that?
They're leaving this soon?

I want app state in the NY6 because I want the sun belt to get some shine.

ULL should be able to run the ball on app but their play calling was arse in the first match up. All the money has been on app but I am leaning ULL because app has struggled to stop the run at times.

App State definitely wins and FAU wins if Freshwater hasn’t left yet.

It gets old, condescending comments every single thread that the Cajuns are mentioned. If it’s ULL then it should be USL, Louisiana then it’s ULaLa, Cajun fans get it. Every single fan base in the state hates our branding, not sure why it bothers LSU fans so much. It’s not like we are in the Big12 or SEC. we could go on a UCF type run and still never be a real threat to LSU, it’s just not sustainable long term.

We rag on it non stop because the branding of University of Louisiana is trying to portray whatever you want to call the university (USL, ULALA, ULL...) as THE flagship university in the state, and that's just not accurate. So, yes. LSU fans naturally get riled up when it is insinuated that LSU isn't the flagship just like you got riled up when I reiterated the point with, yes, a little sarcasm.

Jesus Christ, the only people who ever claim that the university is trying to be “The Flagship” are fans of other programs. You’ll never hear a Cajun fan say that we are a flagship.

Also, this isn’t Texas where there is a criteria that can be achieved by a university to become a Flagship institution. There will only ever be 1 singular flagship university in Louisiana. You think the state legislature would ever change that?

Signing day is what 2 weeks away? The early period is a waste, but they would get a bump in the late signing period announcing Kiffin now.
