He’s made almost a billion dollars.

Even doing the stupid shite he does, it’s basically impossible to spend that much money assuming he has money in the bank earning the slightest bit of interest.

A modest 5%APR on 100mil is 5 mil man.

And he only has 4 kids, much less than most that have gone broke and who have earned far less.

He does not currently have a billion dollars. All of his money is in one savings account at Capital One Bank. He lives a very lavish life style.

Can you imagine how much Tiger would've made if not for the scandal? He would've easily cleared a billion.

Floyd gets white knighted and hated at the same time. (See this thread). That’s the amazing thing thing about him; not so much the money.

It’s Very sad to me to see these numbers. All these salaries are paid by the average man for them to make this playing a game.

Folks have been sayiny Floyd will go broke for years. Even when he doesn't do much of any fighting, his money is still growing. Floyd makes more money in a year than most of the OT ballers would ever see in their entire lifetime. I think it's stupid how he flaunts his money, and is just a giant showboat, etc. He spends his money very willy-nilly. The fact of fhe matter is, he isnt sone NFL player who played 5 years in the league and maybe made a max of 7 million dollars. Those are normally the guys that go broke. Floyd is miles above their tax bracket, whether we like it or not.

I make a single purchade for 1,000 and that is gonna seriously hurt. It is doable but I would have to make some rearrangements in my budget, use credit card, etc.
Floyd can make a purchase for 1,000 every single day of the year and it would have a very little effect on him.

Tiger on the list seems pretty crazy considering he has spent much(if not most) of this generation in mediocrity.

I don’t think they are counting some of Ronaldo and Messi’s earnings

why do you say that?

Nobody is forcing the “average man” to buy TV sports packages and tickets.

People pay for these things because they want to see elite athletes compete. Where else should this money go? Should it all go to the owners?

Because I’m fairly certain they have made significantly more than that over the last decade

I don’t think they did
The transfer fees that you see listed aren’t what the players make
Early in the decade Ronaldo was only making around 30-50 mil a year
In 2008 when he signed with RM, his salary was 8m a year for 6 years
